I love this dress combo! I decided to make it in fabrics that most resembled the first photo. The slinky satin number looks like something that might be best if worn with spanks.....

 

PROGRESS: Materials are ordered, and the Satin Dress is completed other than hemming (I can't make up my mind how short it should be).  Organza Dress is still just material in a box.

I love this dress as is, but to ever be able to actually wear it; it requires some modifications. Lower neck line (for breathing) and shorter hemline (for walking).

 PROGRESS: Materials have been purchased, and most of the dress base is constructed. The over layer at the waist wasn't working for me (boobs can be a downer) so I have attached it directly to the skirt.
